Sheel joined us 7 years ago and continues to thrive with us as an IT-Business Analyst. Having worked on major projects such as TimeTracking and the Segregation of eSM, he tells us about his journey at EITSI and how he’s honed his skillset by working cross-functionally.

Working at EITSI

I work at EITSI as an IT-Business Analyst, with focus on the EMS application. My job is to work with my team in order to form solutions to expedite the problem-solving process for our business. When addressing the business side of such programs, I also co-ordinate activities between the business and the technical teams to ensure that the process is concordant across all the teams involved.

EITSI has helped me thoroughly develop my working style, which is to work cross-functionally. My team consists of people from all backgrounds with different skill sets, who work together to solve any problem that comes our way. Everyone is a team player here and is always ready to provide a helping hand. Knowing that I am amongst some of the brightest and most innovative minds makes me feel empowered and confident.

Learning from EITSI

EITSI is a place where one can never stop growing and learning – everyone always helps each other work on their strengths and weaknesses. I’ve gathered many skills over the 7 years I’ve worked here, especially patience and empathy. Helping myself and others, making sure everyone is on the same page and ensuring smooth communication even during the most critical times has helped me inculcate these skills and I continue to foster it as I take on different projects.

Life beyond EITSI

Striking a work-life balance is a breeze when one is working at a company like EITSI. I thoroughly enjoy travelling, especially visiting mountainous areas. When I’m not working or travelling, I like to pursue my passion of video games as well; I particularly enjoy playing FIFA, racing games, Grand Theft Auto and God of War.
